The panel features three speakers:
- Lance David, MA LCPC: A seasoned counselor with over 22 years of experience in Maryland, specializing in relationship issues and trauma. David employs various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and AEDP, to support clients’ healing and personal growth. He is particularly passionate about assisting men in navigating personal challenges.
- Ryan Williams: An accomplished software engineer and leader with over 25 years of experience, known for his advocacy in disability and neurodiversity inclusion. Williams has volunteered as a speaker and public educator for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), earning several awards for his contributions to mental health advocacy.
- Phil Kaplan: A former lawyer who became active in mental health advocacy after leaving the legal profession due to depression. Kaplan has shared his story with diverse audiences, including law enforcement and healthcare professionals, and is a member of Eastport United Methodist Church.
